Before driving to socal for thanksgiving I was able to get a nice morning in at Alta. I hope I didn’t make anyone sick with the fastfwd footage, I guess if you’re gonna shoot a time lapse style shot its best to keep the camera (in this case my head!) as still as possible.
Here is a little clip I shot the other day with my new VholdR Contour HD helmet cam. I’ve been testing this helmet cam for a couple weeks now and really like what it can do. While you can’t view your footage until you get home and upload it, the fact that it is all self contained is all worth it. It shoots full HD so that is a big plus, and with its mounting device you can take it on and off very very easily. So you don’t have to ski with it on your goggles all day if you don’t want. I like to keep in in my pocket while I’m sliding around and then when something worthy comes along, I take it out and clip it on and record… EASY. That’s what I like.
