Cardiff Ridge – 3-16-10

This photo was shot by Jay Beyer.  I was out the other morning with Steve Lloyd doing a little dawn patrol action and thought I’d ski this mini golf line that I’ve been noticing for the last few years.  Jay and the Powder Whores were shooting Toledo at the same time so he had a nice view of my line.  I have hit the cliff with the tree on top before but skiers right is actually a much better line, you just need some speed to clear the rocks. When my ski cut produced the slide I decided to wait and see what the extra snow would do to the slope. It didn’t cause any additional slides, so I skied my double. It was REALLY fun, but also reminded me of why I have not been onto any bigger lines this year.
