A viscous deer almost attacked me on this ride… luckily I was able to scare her off before she could trample me.
Time to get DIRTY!! I need tires, shoes, & gloves myself.
Right before the storm hit SL last night it got really dark. Then as the sun was dropping it was able to shine under all the clouds, lighting up the mountains. And then this killer rainbow appeared w a another smaller one above it. So pretty, I just had to share.
Here is a quick follow cam clip that I shot on Tuesday in Grizzly Gulch. It was still pow and still pretty deep.
In case you were wondering Hans Ludwig is not German. Although he rocks pastel blue ski pants from the late 80′s, he is your standard Colorado transplant living in Mammoth California. All that aside, Hans is a remarkable writer and individual. I got the chance to run with Hans for a few days a couple weeks back. Anyway, check out his blog and see what this Powder writer is up to these days.
Here is a little clip I shot the other day with my new VholdR Contour HD helmet cam. I’ve been testing this helmet cam for a couple weeks now and really like what it can do. While you can’t view your footage until you get home and upload it, the fact that it is all self contained is all worth it. It shoots full HD so that is a big plus, and with its mounting device you can take it on and off very very easily. So you don’t have to ski with it on your goggles all day if you don’t want. I like to keep in in my pocket while I’m sliding around and then when something worthy comes along, I take it out and clip it on and record… EASY. That’s what I like.
