Europe Trip Salomon Crew
8 days in Europe to shoot photos and test equipment is not a bad way to start the spring, and did it ever feel a lot like spring in France & Switzerland when we were there.
This is the view from my hotel room in Engelberg on the first morning.
From the top of the Titles (Engelberg, CH)… it’s a long way down!
Yes, there was some pow around… kinda old and sugary, but still nice & fun!
This is the cliff Julian Carr front flipped a couple years ago. Its HUGE!
There was a lot of pollution in Switzerland and France. They needed some storms badly!
Onto the French Alps… After a day of providing feedback to various Salomon peeps, we were back in the mountains. This time to test ski, boots, and bingings. This means lots more skiing!
Just about every condition you could ask for was available to test the gear on.
We spent 1 day at St. Foy and 1 day at Val d’Isere testing prototypes. Although most of Europe is having an awful winter, there was still some excellent skiing to be found! Of course the views alone are worth the trip. Big thanks to Salomon for creating such an event for all of us to come together and get down to the nitty gritty.
