Be Ready for Summer

Peru Trip – the first few days

Sandy and I flew into Lima and decided to check out the city. This is looking down the coast from the lovely Miraflores region of Lima.

The next day we jumped on a bus to head down the coast. We stopped in Pisco but decided to keep moving as we were pretty short on time. So we spent the next 12 hours on a bus for Arequipa. Very cool city beneath two huge snow covered volcanoes.

All the roof tops are guarded by dogs. They´re super cute, until you take interest in them, then they get really vicious and loud.

Of course we love to cruise the local markets and see whats for sale.

On our way to Puno. lots and lots of Alpaca, which I found to be delicious as well.
