We’ve got one hell of a persistant weak layer here in the Wasatch snow pack. This photo was from a few days ago, but the resorts countine to see big slides from control work. Its a ‘good thing’ to be able to see the aftermath of the control work. Image being caught in one of these…

SOLD OUT: The Levitation Project Hex Team Shorts on BackCountry.com

Hey y’all check out these loose fitting under shorts on BackCountry.com.

Don’t like dealing with long underwear? you know how you gotta carefully roll your ski socks over top of your long underwear just the right way so that you don’t leave a fold in there that might be uncomfortable in your boots? yeah well those days are over. This is probably the most comfortable long underwear alternative ever invented. And when its time to hit the couch, you’re ready to go.

Cold, Windy, & Pretty Fun

Well, it was freaking cold up there today, and there wasn’t much deep snow to be found, but the wind manages to buff out much of the hill and left some areas with a thick and creamy layer. All in all it was a   sweet day, especially because the crowds were small due to the cold. More storms are lining up, could be a fresh x-mas!

More New Snow

The Wasatch recieved a good pounding yesterday. heading up now to see how it measures up. Reports from yesterday were promising, but the website is claiming small amounts…Could be a classic case of Alta low balling. Lets hope. check back tonight for more on how the winter is shaping up in little cottonwood canyon.
