We’ve got our first day of shooting in the bag! Great conditions, and with a little sun we could see some more of our surroundings…so sick! This place really has everything: big lines, steep spines, and of course pillow lines! My new favorite, pillow lines combine two of the most fun elements of skiing, deep pow and air, in rapid succession, again and again. I’ll have some pics up soon.
We made it! Only 28 hours since we left SLC, and we’re here, a couple hours north of Revelstoke, BC. It’s been snowing like crazy, but we have clear skys in the forecast. The crew: Blake Nyman, Brandon Doyon, Bode Merrill, Will Wissman, Adam Clark, Nico Melenez, and Jeremy Jensen. 2 skiers, 2 snowboarders, 2 photogs, and 2 cines. I’m pretty sure its gonna be a really fun 10 days. HUHUUUH!
What a pleasant surprise. I’m scrolling through the list of nominations for the Powder Video Awards, noting the usual suspects: Hall, Morrison, Backstrom, Hjorleifson, and who’s name should happen to pop up? Thats right, yours truely.I was stoked to be in there for Worst Slam but also Best Line? come on! are you s#!*ing me? Well, needless to say I’m pretty fired up. And, it’s gonna dump today, hellyeah!
